So there was a lot I had to clean up before release, one of the main things being art.

Previously I was getting the art from a tutorial that linked its Google Drive with artwork. That was nice and helpful.

Full credit to the art goes there… though I think he was using publicly available Hollow Knight artwork lol. Still I am grateful for giving quick access to high-quality artwork.

BUT no more! I decided to use opengameart.org for my temporary artwork.

Also, the art I’ve picked from here falls under the CC0 1.0 license from CreativeCommons. This way I don’t have to worry about any legal issues whatsoever.

  • A suitable replacement for the card image frame from the “Holy Knight” asset. I had to modify it a little to change the middle. Does that make it their art, my art or both?

  • Well I decided to use Rawdanitsu’s art as my background. I had to find a light-colored one and after some sleuthing, I decided on the orange/peach one. The others made it too hard to see aliens.
