Note that my journal does not represent my full software development experience. This is dedicated to my personal game development journey, which is a hobby I’m pursuing to deepen my understanding of software engineering while combining it with my passion for game development. The projects, ideas, and progress shared here are part of my learning process, and not necessarily reflective of professional work experience.
Hi! I’m Chang Ju (CJ) Kim.
If you’re here, then you’re reading about my game development progress. I created this space on July 24, 2024 (about 2 months after I started) and will be periodically posting here.
This is a free space for my thoughts. I will often ramble and be difficult to follow but will do my best to make it coherent! (Though often my thoughts aren’t that coherent.) Also, there will be a lot of information that probably is not interesting to the viewer. Sorry!
My thoughts and progress are in my Journal! Feel free to view my entries there.
Anyone who knows me isn’t surprised that I’m trying out game development. After all, gaming is a large part of my life.
Since I have no prior knowledge of game development and am self-taught, I decided to recreate small-scale games to eventually build up to developing my own ideas.
Each game I create will teach me more about game development and let me master various skills.
I am not currently seeking employment in game development. This is a hobby that conveniently lets me practice my software development.
